Brylee was reborn from the newly released doll kit named ''Brylee'' who was lovingly sculpted by the very talented Tamie Yarie. She arrived to me as a blank vinyl doll kit and after many hours of work, she has now been transformed into a beautiful lifelike baby. I am crazy about this precious sleeping baby and love the many details on her face and limbs! She has the most adorable little rolls and creases that make her look so much like a real newborn. Her beautiful color was achieved using permanent Genesis heat set paints. Several layers and colors of paint are applied to give her the lifelike skintone of a real baby. Each layer of color is permanently heat set to give Brylee the beautiful coloring she now has. She has soft undertones of blue in areas where her skin would naturally be thinner around her forehead, nose and eyes and tiny little capillaries and faint ''angel kisses'' on her face.

Brylee has hand rooted wispy brown eyelashes that match her brown hair. I gave her very delicately brushstoke painted eyebrows that are very subtle to perfectly suit her newborn face. Her nose has been carefully opened and backed with dark felt for added realism and depth.

I have painted her lips a very natural color and they have been sealed with varnish for added protection. Just a bit of gloss was added to the inside of her lips and lower lip to make them appear wet.

All of Brylee's sweet little fingernails and toenails have been colored and tipped using translucent paints to give a natural, ''unpainted'' look and sealed with varnish.

I have micro-root Brylee's hair using beautiful, high quality, brown angora mohair . It is fine and soft and I have razor cut it to look just like a baby's ''new'' and uncut hair. It has been very sparsely root so that you can see her scalp peeking through. Her hair has been sealed from the inside with a waterproof adhesive so it can be carefully wet and restyled.

Brylee has a jointed, doe suede body that perfectly accomodates her 3/4 limbs and makes her easy to pose. Her head, limbs and torso have been weighted using glass beads, poly pellets and super soft fiberfill to give her the floppy feel of a real baby.

She can wear most preemie and newborn sized clothing and will arrive in this beautiful christening gown she is photographed in. It is very delicate and sweet with so much detailing. The gown has pintucking on the front and embroidery throughout, as well as a matching embroidered slip that is just as pretty.

I have given Brylee a magnet-free pacifier that is completely safe. Her pacifier has restickable white putty applied to it so it can stick to her mouth without the risks associated with powerful magnets that pose dangers to people with pacemakers and other electronic devices.
